Dispersion = Abbe Number or Constringency Value and Nu Value

- Point -  Dispersion is categorized by Abbe Number or as it is also known by Constringency Value or Nu Value. - Point Word- Dispersion Abbe Number Constringency Value Nu Value - Explanation -  Dispersion refers to the state in which light is scattered or spread out. It refers to the separation of the constituent colors of light, like a rainbow.  Abbe Number is an optical property that describes how much a transparent material scatters light. It is a measure of chromatic dispersion. A higher Abbe Number indicates less dispersion and less chromatic aberration.

Mechanical Center and Geometric Center and Optical Center 3

Mechanical Center : The central dot of a lens cut and machined to fit the eyeglass frame.

Geometric Center : Central dot of a circular lens before processing.

Optical Center : The central point in a lens where light is not refracted.

- Point Word-

Mechanical Center : "Edged"

Geometric Center : "Lens before machining"

Optical Center : "Through which a ray of light may pass without being deviated."

Mechanical Center = Point around which a lens is cut and edged. (The center of the block)

Geometric Center = The single point at the intersection of the diagonals in the boxed shape.

Optical Center = Single point on a spectacle lens through which a ray of light may pass without being deviated.
